ALcontrol Laboratories is one of the largest environmental (water, land and air), food and oil analysis organisations in the UK and Ireland. In the UK, ALcontrol has a turnover of £31 million and tests approximately 2.0 million samples per year.

The oil division is situated in Conwy North Wales, where our state of the art laboratory processes up to 2000 oil and fluid samples on a daily basis.

ALcontrol Oil Analysis Laboratory, formerly ALcontrol Robertson Oil Analysis has over 25 years of experience in monitoring all types of lubricated systems. The laboratory serves a wide range of blue chip clients across the world ranging from shipping, construction, transport and rail.

The laboratory is fully UKAS accredited, and has recently being extended in order to meet customer needs. The laboratory employs circa 45 staff, with in house Sales, Marketing, Quality and Technical teams who are trained to deal with client and customer queries.

ALcontrol Oil Analysis laboratory also provides a dedicated specials analysis investigation service which focuses on finding route cause for failure, contamination and other specific client requests. The laboratory provides a 36 hour turnaround service on standard oil analysis, along with dedicated reporting routes via email in order to ensure our clients receive analysis reports on a ‘soon as possible’ basis.

The current ethos for the laboratory is to expand it’s presence in the rail and marine industry. Recently the ALcontrol Oil Analysis has won a major contract with one of the worlds largest shipping companies, this has been achieved by working closely and in partnership with the client in order to ensure we meet their expectations and requirements.
