The Lanes Group’s pink livery is an increasingly common sight in and around the UK’s railways, as its Rail Division grows ever more successful at providing its own brand of total rail maintenance solutions.

What started as a service primarily for LUL in and around London, has become a dedicated division servicing the rail industry right across the UK, with a wide range of capabilities including civil works, building, demolition, refurbishment, project management, reactive emergency projects and, of course, total drainage maintenance.

Operating from a network of 20 depots and offering a true round the clock service, Lanes has the resources and skills to handle the most demanding and complex rail projects. A fully accredited and preferred contractor working directly for such names as Metronet, TubeLines, Skanska, McNicholas, Galliford Try, Network Rail, LUL, Docklands Light Railway, CTRL and Transport for London, Lanes also carries out rail contracts through civil engineering specialists like Carillion and Balfour Beatty.

With an impressive record of achievements under its belt, the name Lanes is synonymous with projects that are delivered on time, on budget, and, crucially, carried out to the letter in health and safety matters. Lanes is Link Up approved to all relevant Network Rail core module protocols, is BSI accredited, and all rail teams carry Personal Track Safety (PTS) cards.
